Looking for new ways to enjoy ou favourite Thai Taste Curry Kits? The 1 Pot meal is great for bringing new life into leftovers and very easy to make! This recipe was created by Thai street-food chef, Sebby Holmes of Farang, London.


  • 2 tsp Thai Taste Turmeric.
  • 2 tsp Thai Taste Galangal.
  • 2 tsp Thai Taste Kaffir/Makrut Lime Leaves.
  • 2 tsp Thai Taste Thai Basil Leaves.
  • 1 Generous Pinch Salt.
  • 500ml Vegetable Stock.
  • Fresh Kaffir/Makrut Lime Leaves.
  • Fresh Lemongrass.
  • 2-3 Red Finger Chillies.
  • 2 whole Garlic Bulbs.
  • 4 Thai Banana Shallots
  • 500g Cubed Beef Braising Steak.
  • 200-300g Potatoes.
  • Thai Taste Green Curry Meal Kit.
  • 1 Ginger Root.
  • Handful Fresh Coriander.
  • Fresh Galangal root.
  • 1 tbsp Thai Taste Fish Sauce.

Steps for cooking

  • 1.In a bowl, start marinating the cubed beef with the turmeric,galangal,kaffir/makrut lime leaves,Thai basil leaves,salt, and the Green Curry Paste from the Meal Kit. Once fully mixed and the beef is all coated add to a pot and on high heat, seal the beef.
  • 2. Add water to cover the beef, add coconut milk from the kit, the vegetable stock, potatoes, fresh lemongrass, garlic, banana shallots, and fresh galangal.
  • 3. Add fresh chillies, fish sauce, and the whole herbs from the kit.
  • 4. Place in the oven for 2-3 hours until the beef is fully cooked and tender. (it can be kept longer until needed on low heat).
  • 5. Just before serving add the fresh Thai basil and coriander, chopped chillies, and ginger.
