Get ready for your next celebration with these Orange and Thai Basil Bellinis! The Sweet Thai Basil adds a deliciously fresh and earthy flavour to this classic cocktail. We are of course using Sweet Thai Basil rather than the Spicy Holy Basil.


  • 2 tsp Thai Taste Thai Basil Leaves (chopped)
  •  150g White Sugar.
  • 150ml Water.
  •  Orange Juice.
  •  Champagne or Prosecco.

Steps for cooking

    Making a Thai Basil Simple Sryup:

  • 1.In a pan, heat up the water & sugar until the sugar has dissolved. Take off the heat and add in the chopped Thai Basil.
  • Leave to cool completely. You can keep this syrup until you need it. store in a cool cupboard away from direct sunlight.

    Making the Beliini!:

  • 1.In a Champagne flute glass add a dash off the Thai Basil Simple syrup.
  • 2.Fill the rest of the glass with a 50/50 mix of Fresh Orange juice and Champagne or Prosecco.

Thai Basil has a district aniseed taste, change the ratio of Thai basil to orange juice to suit your taste.
