Lemongrass Frosé

Frosé, all day! The perfect summer cocktail, you can prepare ahead of time! We made a Lemongrass syrup which you can use for all your cocktails to add an earthy-citrus flavour.


  • 750ml Bottle of Rosé Wine
  • 50g Caster Sugar.
  • 50ml Water.
  • 114g Thai Taste Lemongrass, drained.

Steps for cooking

  • 1.Freeze a bottle of rosé in a wide pan/dish or in an ice cube tray, until frozen (this can take up to 6 hours or more!).
  • 2. Make a Lemongrass Syrup, In a saucepan, heat equal parts caster sugar and water). Add the drained chopped lemongrass. Heat until the sugar has dissolved completely. Take off the heat and allow it to cool. This syrup can be stored in a sealed glass jar or bottle until you need it.
  • 3. When the rose is frozen, blend syrup, rosé and a fresh squeeze of lemon juice in a strong blender until it the mixture is slushy.
  • 4. Pour into a glass and serve immediately!

You can make a simple syrup with any flavour you wish! Try Lime leaves or Thai Sweet Basil!
