Crunchy Asian Slaw

Bursting with flavour the slaw is perfect as a light lunch or side dish!


  • 500g Shredded vegetables - we used red cabbage & carrots but you could also add red onion, Brussel sprouts, red peppers etc
  • 3 Spring onions
  • A good handful of Coriander leaves
  • The Dressing

  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 60ml Rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp Thai Taste Palm Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Thai Taste Garlic
  • 1 tsp Thai Taste Galangal
  • 1 tsp Thai Taste Vegan Fish Sauce
  • 1 tsp Dried Chilli Flakes - optional

Steps for cooking

  • 1.In a large bowl mix together your chosen shredded vegetables, spring onions and fresh coriander.
  • 2. In a smaller bowl whisk together all of the dressing ingredients.
  • 3. Add the dressing to the vegetables and toss them together.
  • 4. You can garnish with toasted sesame seeds, lime wedges and nuts!

Tailor the recipe to your tastes. for example If you want if sweeter add more palm sugar or if you would like it spicier add more chilli flakes!
