Having a BBQ or a looking for a great tasting appetiser for a get-together? Our BBQ Thai Sweet Chilli wings are easy to make and great tasting! This sweet and sticky BBQ recipe allows 2hrs for marinating the meat, but could also be prepped in just 15-20mins.


  • 1 tbsp Thai Taste Palm Sugar
  • 5 tbsp Thai Taste Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 1 kg Chicken Wings
  • 1-2 Sliced red chillies - optional

Steps for cooking

  • 1.In a large bowl, mix together the palm sugar, sweet chilli sauce and soy sauce. If you are adding fresh sliced chilli, add it now.
  • 2. Place your chicken wings directly into the bowl of marinade and mix, allowing every surface of the chicken to be covered. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • 3. Preheat a barbecue or grill to medium-high heat.
  • 4. Cook the chicken for about 20-22mins on your BBQ. Flipping halfway to ensure even cooking.
  • 5. Make sure to check the chicken is thoroughly cooked before serving as BBQ's can vary in heat so your chicken may take longer.
